A cake of PEACE
To all those who have tasted it with us, you will recognize it: “ Cokoladice “
A must do with your kids: easy - quick, nutritious and delicious. It's a raw cake; no refined sugar; irratable - adaptable!
the first layer - the dough base:
- 2 cups of almonds and/or walnuts and/or sunflower seeds
- 4 tablespoons of agave syrup / or honey
- 1/8 teaspoon of non-iodized salt
- 4 tablespoons of coconut oil (heated if solidified)
Crush the seeds and mix them with the other ingredients to obtain a cookie dough that holds (even better when you keep the cake in the freezer and take it out at the last moment)! Place the mixture 1 to 2 centimeters deep in a suitable mould.
the second layer - the caramel
- 1 cup of dates (stone them and after having bathed them in a little warm water)
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter (easy to make yourself even with peanuts in the blender with a little water)
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil (warmed if solidified)
- 2 tablespoons of water depending on the consistency of the dough
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 cup peanuts (for the crunchy effect)
Mix all the ingredients and cover the base with the dough
the third and put the dish in the freezer.
the 3rd layer: the chocolate coating
- 1/3 cup coconut oil (warmed if solidified)
- 1/4 cup raw cocoa - organic
or 100 gr of 70% cocoa dark chocolate heated in a bain-marie
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
Spread the chocolate over the cake and you're done!
Serve chilled with coconut shavings or a few petals of fresh, edible flowers.
